CultureLab Youth Pulse-The Recession

Recently, we went out to interview Dallas-Ft. Worth area college students about how the current economic crisis has effected their behavior in terms of spending, saving, and consumption. Here are several videos of some of the responses to our questions.

Interesting stuff.

We did something similar in March -

which was a quantitative study we did with 500 12-17 year olds.

It'll be interesting to revisit the guys you interviewed in a years time.

Thanks for the post, it was really interesting to see how the GFC is affecting Gen Y in the US.

In Australia the Commonwealth Bank recently undertook research to investigate how the GFC has changed Gen Y's behaviour and attitudes towards personal banking and finances.
The study revisited research they undertook in 2006 - so it was quite insightful to see how things have changed.
